Hannah Lee Chapter of DAR helps Decorah HS student's work with Cheyennes in Montana

Decorah High School senior Everett Wegge is getting help from the DAR's Hannah Lee Chapter in collecting school supplies for the Northern Cheyenne Indian Reservation near Ashland, Montana. 

Wegge went on a mission trip last year to the reservation, but he wanted to assist the students at St. Labre Indian Catholic School beyond the mission trip.  His response was to collect various school supplies for the St. Labre students. 

Hannah Lee Chapter member Maureen Michel had earned a Wal-Mart grant, which she donated to the Hannah Lee Chapter.  In turn the chapter presented grant funds to Wegge to help him buy school supplies.  He will return to the St. Labre School with his parents in a few days to deliver the supplies collected.
