Letter to the Editor: Wait to put out chairs before Nordic Fest Parade

Bev Nichols of Decorah has submitted the following Letter to the Editor:

"I have a suggestion, common courtesy really. Perhaps the Nordic Fest Parade spectators could place their chairs and blankets on the boulevards and lawns late on Friday or Saturday morning. That would enable the owners to mow their lawns and reserve a space for their own use. Most owners are happy to share space with you and if you contact them they would give you permission to place blankets and pound stakes into their property at that point. And, naturally, it would be nice if you took your trash with you when you leave. A big thank you to the Nordic Festival Board for another incredible year of fun."
