Police had a quiet Nordic Fest

The Decorah Police Department and Winneshiek County Sheriff's Department are reporting only minor incidents during Nordic Fest.

Saturday morning a car parked on Main Street between River Street and Mechanic Street was sideswiped by another vehicle.  Police are asking anyone who might have seen a blue van on Main Street to contact them.

Saturday afternoon around 12:45, Sheriff's Deputies arrested 30year-old Jesse Marchetti of Mabel on a warrant for Third Degree Theft.  Marchetti was taken to the Winneshiek County Jail.

Sunday evening around 7:45, Sheriff's Deputies arrested 59-year-old Shirley Langland of Decorah on a warrant for 5th Degree Criminal Mischief.  Langland  had been arrested July 25th on a charge of Interfering with Police Officers, but had been later released from jail.. Sunday night deputies arrested Langland on the criminal mischief charge and took her to the Winneshiek County Jail.
