Historical demonstrators were out showcasing their traditional Norwegian crafts and skills during Nordic Fest.

Nordic Fest visitors viewed traditional blacksmithing, silver and wood working and textile manufacturing techniques, while experts used the same tools available to early immigrants and settlers. Guests also glimpsed how Nordic people defended themselves as the group "Skjaldborg," meaning "shield wall," gave combat demonstrations in full armor throughout the weekend.
