27 veterans received Quilts of Valor during Nordic Fest

James Schneeberger, Wayne Gossman, Linus Rothmeyer, Lester Peterson, Wayne Teslow, Thomas Froelke, Dean Anfinson,Eugene Sanderman, Alfred Arneson, Ron Dehning, Ronald Emery, Les Folstad, Marvin Folstad and Gary Kroshus received quilts Friday

Decorah's Quilts of Valor program is presenting quilts to 27 Winneshiek County veterans over the weekend.

Since 2014, the Decorah Quilts of Valor group has awarded 126 quilts to veterans from Winneshiek County.  The program is designed to recognize veterans for their service to the country.

James Soukup, Paul Hageman, Vince Barloon, Lee Vangsness, Herbert Hageman, Dale Suhr, Stanley Lyons, Ray Seiler, Roger Lundtvedt, Mike Zweibahmer, Dave Gilbert, Dean Eickelberg and Mark Stockdale will receive quilts Saturday
