Volunteers needed to help staff Iowa State Fair booth for Winneshiek County

The Winneshiek County Convention & Visitors Bureau is looking for volunteers to staff its booth at the Iowa State Fair.

Each year, more than 40 volunteers staff the Winneshiek County tourism booth. The CVB is seeking additional volunteers to fill two slots still remaining--Sunday, August 14th from 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Monday, August 15th from 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.

As an incentive package, volunteers will receive free tickets into the fair, one parking pass plus one night's free lodging.  Volunteers must be familiar with Winneshiek County and have general knowledge of local businesses and attractions. Each shift requires two people; volunteers typically work with a spouse, friend, family member, or co-worker.
