The schedule for construction on Highway 52 has once again been extended, with an announcement that the project will now end in early August.
The Iowa DOT said that the reason for the project extension is weather delays. In the last few weeks, both rain and heat have prevented workers from working full days.
The projected end date of the project was last November, but due to unseen damages, the DOT determined that the road must undergo more serious and time-demanding renovations.
