Five people appointed to Telecommunications Board

The City of Decorah now officially has a Telecommunications Board.
City council members Tuesday night unanimously approved five appointments to the board: Carolyn Corbin, through May 31st, 2017; Paul Mattson, through May 31st, 2018; Bruce Butters, through May 31st, 2019; Anna Norris, through May 31st, 2020; and Jarrad Walter, through May 31st, 2021.
The first business for the board will be to determine whether a feasibility study ought to be done to determine whether a city telecommunications utility would be profitable.
