Police are investigating thefts from Bodensteiner Implement stores in Decorah and Waukon

The Winneshiek County Sheriff's Department and Allamakee County Sheriff's Department are investigating similar thefts from Bodensteiner Implement stores in Decorah and Waukon.

Sunday afternoon an employee of the Decorah store stopped in to help an after-hours customer find a needed part.  The employee noticed several missing items, including Stihl power tools, Stihl accessories and parts and other power equipment, including air compressors, power washers and tractor cameras.

At the same time as the Winneshiek County Sheriff's Department was investigating the Decorah burglary, the Allamakee County Sheriff's Department was contacted by employees at the Waukon Bodensteiner Implement store, where similar items were missing.
