Police: Drive sober or get pulled over this weekend

Decorah Police say they will step up their effort through Tuesday to eliminate drunk drivers on the roads.

Police say if you have been drinking, arrange for a way to get a ride home.  They're also advising people to buckle up when in a car--it's the single most effective way to prevent serious injury in a crash.

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration says 164 people were killed in traffic accidents over the 2014 Fourth of July holiday where at least one driver had a blood alcohol concentration of .08 or higher.
