West Union resident named 2016 EARL Public Transit Driver of the Year

West Union resident Karla Gossling has been named the 2016 EARL Public Transit Driver of the Year.

Gossling is an 11-year veteran of EARL Public Transit, which is a program of NEICAC.

EARL Transportation Director Curt McNew called Gossling "a natural choice" because of "her excellent customer service, peer leadership, proactive communications, immaculate vehicles, and helping wherever needed."

Said Gossling, "The camaraderie among all the drivers is great, we get along with the office, we all get along really well and work together...You don't have that in a lot of business places."

Added Gossling, "I love being outside, I love the variety. I've been all over the place and it's nice to go to different areas and see new things and meet new people."
