Some instruction fees will increase at Decorah schools

Some of the instructional fees will be increasing in Decorah schools. On Monday night the Decorah Community School Board approved a $10 increase in the Driver Education, fees passed on by Drive Tek, to $330. Student lunch fees, as required by regulation, will increase by five cents.

The Technology fee will increase from $15 to $20. That increase was in part driven by earlier Board action to fund multiple technology software services that will further enable the district's digital learning environment. PowerSchool, the student information system that parents and students are familiar with, is one such program.
