Lime Springs man accused of bringing narcotics to the Winneshiek County Jail

A Lime Springs man, 29-year-old Jacob Tripp, was being booked into the Winneshiek County Jail Tuesday morning to serve time on Howard County charges. 

The Winneshiek County Sheriff's Department says during the booking process, jail staff located narcotics contraband on Tripp.  Tripp has now been charged with Possession of Contraband in a Correctional Institution.
