Applications for work are being accepted by Green Iowa AmeriCorps and Winnesheik Energy District

The Winneshiek Energy District and Green Iowa AmeriCorps are taking applications for people interested in serving the AmeriCorps state program facilitating residential energy efficiency, environmental education and community outreach services.

The position is a full-time, 11 month position that will commence on Sept. 19.

The program will compensate workers as well as provide access to health coverage, childcare assistance, federal loan deferment, interest accrual payment and an education stipend.
