Mr. Answer Person says:  "THANK YOU for your question!  This is an opportunity for Mr. Answer Person to promote the re-designed Relay for Life by the American Cancer Society of Winneshiek County.

This year the Relay has been moved to in front of the Winneshiek County Courthouse and has been changed to a Thursday evening, from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.

The purpose of the event is still the same, but there have been lots of changes, including having a group of motorcycle riders displaying their rides along Winnebago Street and three bands performing live music from 5:00 until 9:00 in front of the Courthouse.

Oh, yes--the purple ribbons!  Purple is the official color of the American Cancer Society, so the purple ribbons are part of Paint The Town Purple.
