Wisconsin Brewing Company in Verona, Wisconsin, has announced a new brewing agreement with Decorah's Toppling Goliath Brewing Company.
"We've had a relationship with Wisconsin Brewing for some time; we've shared a few beers together and really hit it off," said Toppling Goliath co-owner Clark Lewey in a news release. Added Lewey, "We felt the best way to expand our distribution into Wisconsin was to brew in Wisconsin."
Wisconsin Brewing Company CEO Carl Nolen added, "As we look to the future, we're considering cross-promoting new beers especially made for beer lovers in Wisconsin, Minnesota and Iowa. We're really proud to be working with Toppling Goliath and looking forward to many new projects together."
Last year Toppling Goliath signed an agreement with the contract brewing company Brew Hub to brew four TG beers that are sold in cans. The agreement with Wisconsin Brewing Co. will meet the demand from bars and restaurants that want their products on tap, something available only for customers in Iowa and Wisconsin and not in the five other states it serves.
