"Dog Tales" kicks off at Decorah LIbrary

On Wednesday evenings starting tonight, under a new program at Decorah Public Library, school age children will be able to read aloud to certified therapy dogs.

Kids, parents, educators and dog lovers are all invited to come and learn about the new "Dog Tales" program at 6:00 p.m.

Local dog trainer Brittany Allen will provide an overview of the program as well as offer safety tips for interacting with the animals.

Dog Tales will take place 6:00-7:00 p.m. every Wednesday night throughout the summer. For more information, call the Decorah Public Library at (563)-382-3717.
