"Women on the Water" is this weekend

Hutchinson Family Farm Campground is hosting the 2nd Annual "Women on the Water" event, a Sunday afternoon of kayaking just for women.

Campground owner Dixie Hutchinson and her daughter, April Bril, will be guiding the 3-hour float down the Upper Iowa River.

The registration fee of $35 per person includes kayak rental and a social campfire meal following the river kayaking.  Empty Nest Winery will offer wine tastings.  Participants are welcome to bring their own kayaking equipment as well as snacks, beverages and yard games.
