Winneshiek Medical Center will soon be making improvements to one of its parking lots in hopes of correcting some problems.
The project will replace around 1,800 square feet of parking lot near the loading dock at the hospital at a cost of $130,000.
Drainage in the area has been a problem--puddle in the summer and ice in the winter. The project will include reshaping the parking lot to eliminate low spots and improve drainage. It is hoped that the changes will make foot traffic safer for staff members and for deliveries.
