North Winneshiek preschoolers wrap up their study of bald eagles

North Winneshiek preschool students have been studying eagles, regularly watching the local eagle families online.

As part of their study of bald eagles, they made individual paper-plate eagles, and a life-size adult eagle drawn on paper. They also measured and created a model of an eagle nest in their classroom.  Their projects were displayed during May on the kiosk at the Decorah Fish Hatchery.
