Several 4th grade students from Carrie Lee Elementary School have been recognized by the Noetic Learning Math Contest, a national mathematics contest for elementary and middle school students.

More than 24,000 students from across the country competed in this year's contest.  13 of those students were from Carrie Lee School.

Anders Lovstuen was the team winner.  Lovstuen, Aidan Nalean-Carlson and Sydney Kipp were all named to the contest's National Honor Roll, which includes the top 10 percent or so of participating "Mathletes."  Eight of the 13 Carrie Lee students were named to the contest's National Honorable Mention listing, which includes the top 50 percent of participating Mathletes: Shlok Patel, Lucas Arendt, Mason Cote, Elayna Hook, Simon Kutz, Will Teslow, Anders Kittelson and Beth Suhr.
