There are now 77 schools in Iowa that have been given a Bronze Award from the Healthier US School Challenge to celebrate their dedication to healthy kids.  Decorah's John Cline School is the latest on that list.

Iowa Department of Education staffers Donna Matlock and Patti Delgor were on hand Tuesday as the award was presented to the school.  To prove that they deserved the award, the John Cline students took part in some exercises in their gym--then went outside to take part in a wellness fair.

Principal Rick Varney says the school has been working with the Northeast Iowa Food & Fitness Program to make sure the students are eating healthy foods and getting plenty of exercise.  Varney says it's been a priority at the school for five or six years.
