Sheriff's Deputy Gordy Buss retires

A Winneshiek County Sheriff's Deputy has retired.

Gordy Buss worked in law enforcement for 38 years.  He served in key roles in investigations, Northeast Iowa Drug Task Force, LEIN, McGruff Crime Dog Program, implementation of the Business Notification Program, crime scene management, evidence officer and countless other areas.
 
Sheriff Dan Marx thanked Buss "for all his hard work and dedication to this office and all the people he has served, protected and helped throughout his years."
