2016 Lawn Chair NIght schedule announced

The Decorah City Council has approved closing Main Street in front of the Winneshiek County Courthouse on eleven Thursday nights this summer for Lawn Chair Night.

The first Lawn Chair program will be June 2nd and will feature New Minowa Players.  Other June events are Mark Armstrong on June 9th, the Relay For Life on June 16th, Michelle Lynn and Homestead Act on June 23rd and Lutheran Summer Music Program on June 30th.

July's schedule is slightly abbreviated because of the Winneshiek County Fair and Nordic Fest.  The Decorah Municipal Band will perform July 7th and Nordic Dancers will perform July 21st.

In August, the four programs are Kindred Minds on August 4th, Root River Jam on August 11th, the Guttenberg German Band on August 18th and Paul K on August 25th.
