Four Decorah FFA members competed in the Northeast Iowa District FFA Agronomy Contest at Hawkeye Community College. The team, consisting of Tyler Flak, Ashley Schwartzhoff, Daniel Schwartzhoff, and Hannah Sikkink, evaluated various crop production aspects, including hay quality, silage samples, seed quality, and corn and soybean marketing. The students also took a fifty question multiple-choice examination covering agronomic practices.
The team placed fourth out of sixteen teams. Flak also earned fifth place in the individual contest.
