On-line registration system for Decorah Park-Rec is going well

The Decorah Parks & Recreation Department began using an on-line registration system Monday morning for people wanting to sign up for summer recreation class or buy a swimming pool pass, among other tasks.

The initial report is that the new system is going very well.  Park-Rec Director Andy Nimrod says 92 percent of all summer recreation class sign-ups have been done on-line in the first few days of registration.

More importantly, the department has handled double the number of registrations than usual so far.
