Demolition phase of Bluffs Inn certified as completed

The City of Decorah has issued a document saying that the demolition of the Bluffs Inn is 100 percent complete.

The document was sought by Rebound Hospitality, which is building a new Fairfield Inn & Suites on the site of the former hotel.  With the demolition completed, payments promised to Rebound Hospitality from Decorah Jobs, Inc. and from Winneshiek County Development will be put into motion.  The payments were intended as incentives to get the new hotel completed.
