Letter to the Editor: Thanks for not spraying your lawn

(Liz Rog of Decorah sends this Letter to the Editor):

"This is the time of year when the sight of dandelions in yards tells us that the people who live there have chosen to keep a truly green lawn--one that excludes toxic sprays that harm children, pregnant women, insects, birds, and the rest of us mammals. Thank you! 

There are so many of you, and more each year, who are making the choice to not spray. Together we are changing the way our eyes see lawns, so that dandelions are truly a sign of health!"
