Registrations needed this week for Sons of Norway Syttende Mai meatball dinner

Syttende Mai is coming up soon.  Valdres Lodge 503 Sons of Norway will celebrate Norwegian Constitution Day at 6:00 p.m. May 17th with a Norwegian meatball dinner and program at Washington Prairie Lutheran Church.  The menu will include Norwegian meatballs, real potatoes, salad, vegetables, lefse, rommegrot and pastries, all prepared and served by the members of the congregation.  Members, guests, and the general public are all welcome and invited to attend.

However, in order to prepare for the dinner, which will cost $15 per person, paid reservations should be sent no later than Wednesday of this week to LaDonn Jonsen, 405 Sunrise Boulevard, Decorah, IA, 52101.

In addition to the meal, a program will be presented by Ron and Freda Nowland of La Crosse entitled: "Greenland - the 'Coolest' Place on Earth."

Again, all are welcome to attend.
