Tuesday is the deadline to register for recycled tire bird feeder workshop on Thursday at Lake Meyer Park

Winneshiek County Conservation will be hosting a workshop Thursday evening at 6:00 p.m. at Lake Meyer Park and Campground to teach people how to create a bird feeder out of a recycled tire.

Registration is required by Tuesday, as space will be limited.  Call (563) 534-7145 to register.

A $10 materials fee per feeder will be due at the time of the workshop.  All materials and equipment will be provided.

All participants under the age of 15 must be accompanied by an adult.  The workshop will involve the use of power tools.

Lake Meyer Park is located at 2546 Lake Meyer Road, off of Highway 24 between Calmar and Fort Atkinson.
