Friday accident sends one person to the hospital

The Winneshiek County Sheriff's Department says a passenger was injured Friday evening when 16-year-old Mikaila Murray lost control of her car on Drake Hill Road.

Murray was traveling south and lost control on a curve going downhill on the gravel road.  The vehicle fishtailed several times before entering the ditch and ending on its top. One passenger was transported to the hospital by ambulance.  

Murray received a ticket.
