Two-vehicle crash causes $2,500 in damages

Decorah Police say a two-vehicle accident on Locust Road last Tuesday caused a total of $2,500 in damages.

57-year-old Paul Oftedahl was driving north of Locust Road when a vehicle in front of him began slowing down to turn into a driveway.  Oftedahl also slowed down, but his car was struck from behind by a car driven by 18-year-old Cole Headington of Calmar.

Neither driver was injured.  No tickets were issued.
