Prom for Persons with Disabilities will be held

The Inwood Ballroom in Spillville is hosting a "Kentucky Derby" themed night of food, music, dancing and games for persons with disabilities on Saturday, May 7th.

Doors will open at 5:00 p.m. for the event that will combine a dinner and a dance with DJ music being provided by "Blackout." Games and prizes for all attendees will close out the evening.

The invitation is extended to individuals 16 and older. The night is designed to feel like a traditional prom. Attendees are asked to RSVP by April 25 by calling Sadie Wermers at (507)-258-0558.

The event free for all in attendance and is catered for people with disabilities within the counties of Allamakee, Clayton, Winneshiek, Fayette, Chickasaw and Howard.
