The Decorah Historic Preservation Commission is seeking applications for two positions that will soon become vacant. Requirements include residency in Decorah and a commitment to historical preservation.
The seven-member Commission advises the City Council on building and site preservation and assists in designating historic landmarks and districts.
Commission Chair Mark Z. Muggli commended the work of the group, saying, "It's and exciting project that will have a lasting impact on the city's economic and cultural well-being."
