Decorah School District officials say Monday's school lockdown was without incident

Decorah School District officials say Monday's lock down of all school buildings "went as smoothly as expected."

The lock down was put into effect on Monday after a Decorah man sent a threatening e-mail over the weekend to two Carrie Lee Elementary School teachers.
 
School district officials said they wanted to err on the side of caution, so they ordered schools to be locked down.  Plans for Tuesday will be announced later Monday.
