Seven months into its 2015-2016 fiscal year, Winneshiek Medical Center continues to do well financially. "We're in a good, financially stable state," said WMC Chief Finance Officer Lynn Luloff in present figures showing that February's operating gain of $163,833 was higher than budgeted and when combined with non-operating revenues of $67,375, gave the hospital a net gain was $231,208 in February.
For the first seven months of their fiscal year, the hospital shows an operating gain of $2,147,377, which is 29 percent higher than last year at this time. When combined with non-operating revenues of $443,796, the hospital shows a net gain is $2,591,173 so far this fiscal year.
