Rebound Hospitality's site plan for new Fairfield Inn & Suites wins approval

The Decorah City Council has unanimously approved the site plan for the new Fairfield Inn & Suites on Highway 9.

The approval came even though Decorah City Administrator Chad Bird said there were some "moving parts" to the site plan, especially the plans for Industrial Lane and Short Street to the south of the proposed hotel.  But Bird said those details could be resolved closer to the opening of the hotel.

Rebound Hospitality president Brett Reese thanked the city council and the Decorah community for "its support and encouragement and help."
