It's hatching time at the Decorah bald eagle nest

The first bald eagel hatch of 2016 has taken place, with the second and third hatches to occur within the coming week.

Raptor Resource Project officials say they're still not sure exactly when the first egg hatched, but it happened some time Monday night or early Tuesday morning..

Raptor Resource officials say by 6:30 Tuesday morning the first chick was "already fluffy and dry!"
