Yet another Winneshiek County bridge has been closed

Winneshiek County Bridge #12 on 230th Street southwest of Ridgeway has been permanently closed.

Winneshiek County officials made the announcement Tuesday afternoon, saying the closure was made  due to "advanced substructure decay" on the bridge.

Earlier Tuesday, Winneshiek County supervisors met with County Engineer Lee Bjerke to review all the bridge replacements and road projects slated for the next several years in the county.
