Winter storm largely stays to the north

While some areas of the Midwest are expecting up to 11 inches of snow from the latest snowstorm, those areas are north of Interstate 90, for the most part.

The Decorah area mostly received rain or freezing rain from the storm, with a couple of inches of snowfall overnight.

The National Weather Service Office in La Crosse says Thursday morning could see another inch of snow, but freezing rain and sleet will also be a possibility.

Travelers are being advised to use caution--especially traveling to the north.
