NICC faculty and staff attending a day-long program on equity and fairness

Staff and faculty at Northeast Iowa Community College are holding a day-long retreat Thursday at Upper Iowa University in Fayette.

The theme for the day is "Collective Awareness in Realizing Equity."  The program will focus on diversity, equity and inclusion at the NICC. Nearly 400 NICC staff and faculty members will attend.

NICC campuses and centers will be closed on Thursday, as well as through Monday in observance of the Easter holiday.
