Registration has begun for a Farm Succession Planning class

Succession planning is essential to being able to successfully handle the complex process of passing on a farm on to the next generation.

NICC and Winneshiek County Development are sponsoring a class next Wednesday, March 30th, from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.  that will discuss the language of estate planning, gift, estate & inheritance taxes, working with legal and tax professionals and navigating the family communication that is vital to creating a good estate plan.

The class will be held in the Borlaug Room of Luther's Student Union.  The fee for the class--$25 per person--includes a lunch.
