Work is beginning on East Water Street Condo project

Work is getting underway on the construction of new condominiums at 702 East Water Street at the former Wapsie Produce property.

Crews first are working on scrub tree removal along the Dry Run channel.  They will also work to improve the look and functionality of the stream bed.

Starting Monday crews will begin work on water and sewer utility connections. There will be street closings and detours along East Water Street for a few days--probably starting Monday--while contractors trench the utilities through the street.
