Centrum Mall is filling up

Decorah Physical Therapy has moved to Centrum Plaza and is now called "Integrated Therapy Specialists, PC"

The Centrum Plaza has gotten several new tenants and is approaching full occupancy for the first time since the Wal-Mart closed in 2004 after moving to a new location on Old Stage Road.

A nail salon located in Prairie Du Chien is finding business good after its move several months ago to Centrum Plaza.  American Family Insurance agent Toni Benson has relocated her offices to the former WalMart building in a search for more space.  Decorah Physical Therapy's Arnie Larson has joined with physical therapist Paul Pellett and has moved to the former WalMart building.

In addition, Anytime Fitness is moving within the shopping center as soon as its new space next to Winneshiek True Value is completed.

The two local realtors who work on filling spaces at the shopping center are Tade Kerndt of Viking Realtors and Bill Stoen of Cedar Valley Iowa Realty.  Stoen says there is still one space left in the strip mall part of the shopping center--the 3,200 square feet of space that used to house the Digital Dog Pound.  Kerndt says there's just short of 10,000 square feet still available in the former Wal-Mart building, but most of that space is towards the rear of the building.

With three new tenants and one expanding tenant, the shopping center is becoming even busier than in the past.
