Winneshiek County Democrats elected six Sanders delegates, five Clinton delegates

125 delegates to the Winneshiek County Democratic County Convention onSaturday elected six Sanders delegatesand five Clinton delegates to represent Winneshiek County at both the upcoming First District andState conventions.

The county delegates also approved an issues platform.  Four candidates for public office spoke to the delegates--State Senate candidate Jan Hiekes, State House of Representative candidates Steve McCargar and Pat Ritter and Winneshiek County Supervisor Mark Kuhn.
