The Fayette County Sheriff's Department says it has arrested 34-year-old Trevor Satrom, a former Decorah resident, on multiple charges including Unlawful Possession of Offensive Weapons.
Investigators say they searched Satrom's apartment and found material used to make and detonate bombs. The Fayette County Sheriff's Department says 30 pounds of black gun powder, numerous steel pipes threaded with drilled end-caps, two pressure cookers, several feet of fuses, pounds of BB's and shredded metal used for shrapnel and a working flame thrower were found, as were napalm mix, body armor, several guns, rifles and smoke grenades.
Satrom is in custody. Fayette County investigators are still trying to determine a motive.
