First-ever Luther "Giving Day" raises $574,809

#luthergives16, Luther College's first-ever Giving Day has raised $574,809 for the college's Annual fund.

The centerpiece of Thursday's fundraising event was a 12-hour live stream from Marty's, featuring interviews with Luther professors, staffers and alumni.

Money raised from #luthergives16 will go to the Annual Fund, which supports scholarships, academics and programs at Luther.
