Luther sophomore accepted to prestigious London School of Economics

A Luther College sophomore, Matias Velastegui from Banos de Agua Santa, Ecuador, has been accepted to the London School of Economics for the 2016-17 school year.

Known worldwide for its academic reputation, the London School of Economics has facilitated many influential developments, including the basis of the modern welfare state and the development of free-market economics.

Beginning in September, Velastegui will enter a year-long study abroad program at the London School of Economics.
