Relay For Life is seeking teams for this year's fundraiser

The American Cancer Society is recruiting teams to participate in the annual Relay For Life of Winneshiek County on Thursday, June 16th at the Winneshiek County Courthouse in Decorah.

Relay For Life teams help raise funds for the fight against cancer.  During 2015 four million people participated in 6,000 Relay For Life events worldwide.

This year's Winneshiek County Relay For Life will look very different than prior years, switching days and locations.  This year's event will be at the Winneshiek County Courthouse on a Thursday night. The evening will include live music, family friendly activities, food, and more. Traditional luminarias will line the walking path honoring cancer survivors, those who are no longer with us and caregivers.

There will also be a motorcycle ride fundraiser to benefit the American Cancer Society's Relay For Life.  Motorcycles will be on display during the local Relay for Life.  Visit www.ridefortherelay.org to learn more about the motorcycle event.
