A quilt raffle has raised $1,000 for the Winneshiek County Celebration of Life.

Last year TriTech employee Christine McConnell approached a Karsyn's Krusaders board member and said she would like to help the group raise money for fighting cancer by making and donating a quilt.  McConnell turned to a group of friends and some Camp Tahigwa volunteers and made the quilt.  Chances were sold on the quilt and the drawing of a winner was Monday.

And the winner is--Cheri Lane, another TriTechMarketing employee.

The sale of raffle tickets for the quilt andmatching funds from Karsyn's Krusaders resulted in a $1.000 donation Monday to Winneshiek County Celebration of Life.

WCCOL has already helped 43 people who have been affected bycancer by giving them free gas cards.

In the past seven years, Karsyn's Krusaders has raised over$650,000 and donated to 25 different organizations in 16 different states tohelp families affected by cancer, with special emphasis on childhood cancer.
